Garments

We provide two options for extracting your garments. You can either submit an image with a model wearing the garment in a frontal pose with no obstructions blocking the garment, or use a ghost mannequin. It's essential to include a fit reference image of a model wearing the garment in both cases.

Image requirements checklist

Images with a transparent background, white background, or one that brings contrast with the garments (PNG or JPG)
Minimum size of 1024 x 768 pixels
Minimum resolution of 72 dpi
All garments should be in a frontal pose

Model using garment

To ensure the extraction goes smoothly, keep in mind that the closer your image matches these requirements, the better the results will be when extracting.
The photo should be frontal (slight variations to the sides are accepted)
If the photo used is a full-body image, the top and bottom garments should have different colors or prints
The pose for garment extraction should be frontal, with arms parallel and not pressed against the body, ensuring they don't block the garment. For bottom garments, straight legs provide the best extraction
Only the garment intended to be worn needs to be visible in the extraction image

Top

No accessory should be in front of the garment to be extracted, like bags, backpacks, scarves, necklaces.

Bottom

Ensure that arms don't obstruct the garment being extracted. Position arms slightly away from the body for best results.

Jackets and coats

Can be worn preferably closed.

Full

The frontal full-body image should clearly display the entirety of the garment, from its beginning to its end.

Ghost mannequin

We can also use photos with ghost mannequin garments, as long as they follow these requirements:
Fit
The garments should be photographed with the best fit possible, avoiding wrinkles and folds
Garment Details
Capture garments with unique fits or details as they are meant to be worn

Top

Collar
The back collar should be aligned with the neck and shoulders.

Sleeves
Clothes with sleeves should have enough space between the sleeves and the torso, arms should be straight and parallel to the body.

Bottom

For pants the leg opening should be wide enough for the front inseam area to be clearly visible.

Jackets and coats

Can be worn preferably closed.

Full

The full-body image should clearly display the entirety of the garment, from its beginning to its end.

Lighting and contrast

Make sure to follow important guidelines concerning lighting and contrast:
The lighting should be uniform and neutral, ideally using white light
Maintaining consistent lighting throughout is important
For the extraction to work well, garments should be in contrast with the background color, the model skin color and between other garments the model is wearing
Preferably there must be clear difference between the clothes on the model and the photo background

Size chart

Choose whether you'll use a table by category or by brand to upload your size chart. It's essential to specify the default table to be used and include a demo file for reference.

Note that a measurement table for each category is necessary to enable the sizing feature.

Here's a measuring table for reference.
